The kitchen and bedroom can be linked together and there: you have an instant playhouse. Very simple assembly.
The furniture is lightweight, little ones can move them around with ease. Durable materials (without a lot of plastic, which I personally really like).
My daughter loves this. The thing I really like about it is that it is very detailed in the design.it's even cuter in person.
A winner in my book. She plays with it just about every day.
Or set them side by side for a more open feel.
It's bulky so you have to have the space for it as it cannot be easily taken apart. We purchased this for our daughters for Christmas- it took some patience to put together but it is very nice and durable. I would not have paid full price for this item but got it for a steal on Amazon, so I am happy with that.
Too hasty.Once assembled, our daughter - a tiny 5 year old love, love, love it. It's probably not suitable for younger kids say 2 years below. We spent an hour trying to fit the wrong cover over the wrong frame.
Or at least hide the mess if you have people over or you just want to be clutter free for a while. If you lean on the cottage wall, it will fall over. We have had it for half a year and still no tear - altho I must say my girl isn't the rough kick-things type.
Before I start gushing about it, let me just stress READ MANUAL CAREFULLY. And the great thing is it can also serve as a storage for toys. (A friend's daughter (2.5) did that)
The manual is actually quite simple so I guess it's our fault. She would spend hours playing inside.
For the money, this is the best playhouse out there, had to buy the other table set and Nursery to compliment all of the house too, but well worth the money. We bought this for our 18 month old for Christmas and she loves it.not much hassle assembling and easy to stow away.
One word about the initial assembly. I give the Rose Petal Cottage an enthusiastic 5 stars. What's amazing about the Rose Petal Cottage is that, 2 years later, our little girl has not tired of it yet. The other amazing thing is that the house actually lasted for 2 years and it looks as good and as undamaged today as it did the day we assembled it. With my help, following her directions, of course. She and a friend can bring in two little princess chairs, close the the door and they can play inside for hours, watching TV through the window or making breakfast for their dollies or for themselves. The little stove that came with the house saw some play but it's mostly other toys of hers that she brings into the cottage.
It was 'mission challenging' for my wife who correctly put the rest together. I needed help after I set up the frame.
When linked together, the 2 halves form her little corner of privacy and it can be in the middle of the living room. Or at least it was 'mission impossible' for me.
Unlike a doll house this is HER little house inside our house. It's not easy.
My little girl is a happier girl because of it. I can't think of any other toy of hers that survived for 2 years.
The possibilities are endless and you don't really need the related accessories.
